Guest mode is the perfect way to share your phone or tablet with others. Unlike standard Android guest accounts, Guest Mode isn’t just limited to apps. You can also share your photo gallery, music library, and settings. If you want to let somebody borrow your phone or tablet but want them to only use certain apps or features, enabling Guest Mode is the safest way to do this.

Note: Setting up Guest mode may vary depending on the Pixel model you have. However, this process will more or less be similar for other Android mobiles also.

Enable Guest Mode on Google Pixel 6

To enable guest mode on Google Pixel 6 Pro, follow the below steps:

You can access the Quick Settings panel by swiping down twice from the top of the screen. Tap the gear icon.

Scroll down and select “System.”

Now go to “Multiple Users.”

Next, toggle on the button to allow “Use Multiple Users.”

Next, tap “Add Guest.”

A guest profile has now been created. Now, you can switch the user account and enable guest account.

An simpler way to switch profiles is to swipe down from the top of the screen and access the Quick Settings panel.A new user icon will be displayed between the power and settings icons.

Select “Guest.” from the menu.

And done, you have successfully enabled guest mode on your Pixel 6 Pro.

Enable Guest Mode on Samsung Galaxy Tablets

Samsung does not support guest mode on smartphones. Only Galaxy Tablets have the option of enabling guest modes.

Now Go to “Accounts and Backup.” in the “Settings” menu.

Now, ensure that multiple users switch is  toggled on and tap “Guest.”

A guest profile has now been created. You can enable whichever profile you so which to do so from here.You can even remove it from this screen.

However, you can quickly enable the guest profile via the Quick Settings panel and tap the user icon.

Now select “Guest” and you’ll have enabled the guest profile.

And thats it. You have successfully setup guest mode profile.If your phone or tablet supports the feature, it’s super easy to use. Unfortunately, not every device does support it. There are some other ways to give people access to your device in a restricted manner.
